Flute Rentals
The Arizona Flute Society can provide short-term rental instruments for two different low flutes, either a Pearl Bass Flute or a Jupiter Alto Flute , subject to availability.

To be eligible for a rental flute, you must be an AFS member in good standing (i.e., dues are paid and up-to-date). If you are not a member but would like to join, please follows this link: https://www.arizonaflutesociety.org/membership
​​Security Deposit
A $100.00 security deposit is required of the Renter at the time the instrument is received. The “Renter” is the only authorized user and must maintain the instrument in their possession throughout the rental period. The security deposit is refunded in full upon the return acceptance of the flute by AFS if the flute is clean, functional, and has not been damaged during the rental period. Note that transport of the rental flute to and from the AFS is the responsibility of the Renter.
Rental Period
The initial rental period is from as few as 3 days to a maximum of 2 weeks. The cost associated with your approved rental period is payable at the time of receipt of the instrument, along with the security deposit. Checks are the preferred form of payment for the security deposit.

If the flute you rent is not reserved by another renter before the end of your initial rental period, you may renew the rental for an additional (1) week at a time with prior approval.. The rental periods and costs are shown below.
Rental Period Cost
Three (3 days) $ 15.00
One (1) week (7 days) $ 25.00
Two (2) weeks (14 days) $ 40.00
Additional weeks - with prior approval $ 15.00 per week
There will be a $10.00 per day late fee if you fail to return the flute the agreed-upon date at the end of the rental period. AFS reserves the right to use the initial security deposit to cover any late fees.
